What is Auto BDC training?

Auto BDC training refers to specialized training programs designed for Business Development Center (BDC) staff in automotive dealerships. These programs teach employees how to handle customer inquiries, schedule appointments, follow up on leads, and use dealership CRM software effectively. The goal is to improve communication with customers, increase appointment show rates, and boost overall sales and service performance. Auto BDC training often includes phone skills, email etiquette, and best practices for customer relationship management.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Auto BDC Training, and why are they important?

To thrive in Auto BDC (Business Development Center) Training, you need strong customer service skills, sales acumen, and a basic understanding of automotive products, often supported by prior experience in customer-facing or call center roles. Familiarity with CRM systems, phone and email communication tools, and dealership management software is typically required. Outstanding communication, active listening, and resilience under pressure help individuals excel in engaging customers and generating leads.
