As Authentic scales, we need a Recruiter who can own hiring end-to-end. This isn't a role where you coordinate interviews and wait for decisions - you'll drive searches from kickoff to close, build pipelines across functions, and be a real partner to hiring managers. You'll report to the Head of People and work closely with leaders across the business.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting across all functions - sourcing, screening, coordinating, closing
- Build and manage pipelines for roles spanning engineering, product, operations, sales, and corporate functions
- Source proactively through LinkedIn, networks, and creative outreach - not just inbound applicants
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand each role, calibrate on candidates, and move quickly without sacrificing quality
- Own the candidate experience from first touch to offer, making every interaction reflect well on Authentic
- Maintain clean data and reporting in our ATS (Greenhouse) so we always know where things stand
- Contribute to employer branding and how we show up to candidates in the market
Who You Are
- 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at an insurtech, fintech, or tech company
- Comfortable hiring across the board - technical and non-technical roles
- A strong sourcer who doesn't wait for applicants to come to you
- Sharp communicator with high emotional intelligence - candidates and hiring managers both trust you
- Organized and process-oriented without being rigid; you know when to move fast and when to slow down
- Experienced with Greenhouseย
- Based in New York and excited to be in-office with the team
The base salary range for this position is $105,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus tied to hiring and recruiting goals.
