Description:
About Our Family
Hello! We are a high-energy, active Christian family of six relocating to the Minneapolis area. Because my husband travels frequently for work, I am looking for a wonderful, proactive nanny to act as my true teammate in navigating a busy household. We have four amazing children: girls aged 6.5 and 5, a 2-year-old son, and a 3-month-old baby boy. Our home also includes one lovable, 30lb, non-shedding Mini Goldendoodle who is a big part of our family! Our home is rooted in faith, gratitude, humility, and respect—but it’s also filled with laughter, outdoor adventures, and fun!
The Ideal Teammate
We are looking for someone who doesn't just "babysit," but who wants to become an extension of our family for years to come. Our perfect nanny is:
  • Proactive & Organized: Someone with great initiative who sees what needs to be done and jumps in to help with household routines.
  • Active & Playful: Ready to match the energy of four young kids, head to the park, and stay busy.
  • Comfortable with Pets: Genuinely comfortable and happy to be around our sweet, non-shedding Mini Goldendoodle.
  • Flexible: Due to a demanding and changing work schedule, you'll need to be comfortable with long days (e.g., 7 AM – 8 PM on heavy activity days) and occasional weekend hours, balanced with lighter downtime when the older kids are in school.
  • Aligned with Our Values: Comfortable in a faith-based home that prioritizes manners, boundaries, grace, and open, honest communication. (Note: Small/discreet tattoos are perfectly fine!)
A Typical Day & Responsibilities
  • Morning Teamwork: Arrive at 7 AM to help with the kids' breakfast while Mom tends to the baby.
  • Daytime Focus: After school drop-offs, your primary focus will be our sweet baby boy and our 2-year-old (who attends preschool 2-3 days a week).
  • Afternoon/Evening Support: While Mom handles the afternoon sports and activity shuffle, you will help keep the house organized, prep dinner, and ensure our pup is looked after so it's ready when the busy crew returns.
  • Evening Flexibility: Occasionally staying with the sleeping baby while Mom takes the older kids out, or coordinating schedules with our evening sitter.
  • Travel: Occasional travel (primarily short trips to Texas to visit family).
What We Offer
  • A highly competitive wage ($29–$35/hr).
  • A welcoming, respectful, and communicative environment where you will feel deeply appreciated.
  • The option for a private live-in arrangement if it's the right fit.
