Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM OR 7:00 AM–9:00 AM & 1:00 PM–7:00 PM | Long Term
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview / About the Family:
A warm professional family is seeking an after-school nanny/household manager for their two children (an 8-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy). The household is active and structured, and they seek a proactive, dependable caregiver who can support both childcare and household organization. No travel is required. A Montessori background is a plus!

Benefits: One week vacation, 2 sick days, 2 personal days, 3 paid holidays

Responsibilities:

  • School pick-up for both children (walking distance from home) and safe supervision after school
  • Engaging, structured care with a focus on active play and enrichment
  • Light meal preparation for children
  • Maintain an organized, calm, and child-friendly after-school routine
  • Ensure children are safe, engaged, and supported during transitions and activities
  • Light household management during school hours when the children are not home, including general tidying and keeping shared living spaces neat and organized
  • Family meal prep and grocery shopping
  • Household laundry
  • Running everyday household errands, such as returning packages to UPS/FedEx

Requirements:

  • Prior childcare experience in a nanny, teaching, or household management role
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Comfort in water and ability to swim
  • COVID vaccinated
  • Proactive, self-starter personality with strong reliability and consistency
  • Comfort supporting a busy household environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take initiative
  • Montessori or educational background a plus, but not required
