Introduction to XYZ
XYZ Reality are the creators of the world's first and only engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution, purpose built for the construction industry. Not only have we created this holographic technology, that sits within The Atom - a smart, site-safe headset/hardhat - but we implement it on projects, utilising the power of AR to ensure that all schemes are completed in line with the delivery timescales and budgets.
XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and is working with Mission Critical organisations & construction companies to successfully deliver major projects.
Role Summary
The Graduate/Entry-Level Site Engineer role is designed for individuals at the beginning of their career, typically with limited construction experience. This role focuses on developing the technical and practical skills required to deliver XYZ Reality's services on construction projects.
This role will perform the same operational tasks as Site Engineers but will receive additional training, mentorship, and support while they develop their competency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ's Augmented Reality Device - The Atom.
  • Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.
  • Ensure these QA Issues are submitted to the client on daily basis.
  • Be responsible for the quality of your work ensuring that it follows outlined workflows and standards.
  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on-site to ensure full coverage of the project.
  • Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Degree or relatable education/experience in engineering, construction management, surveying, or related discipline.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
  • Interest in the construction industry including technology and digital tools.
