Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work in the Orlando, Florida area.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Senior Systems Engineer would provide technical leadership for virtual training systems, with a focus on transitioning logistics trainers into the Synthetic Training Environment (STE). This role combines systems engineering expertise with hands-on oversight of design, development, and integration activities.
Key Responsibilities to include:
Systems Integration & Architecture
  • Apply Systems of Systems Engineering (SoSE) and Product-Line Engineering (PLE) principles to ensure simulators achieve full interoperability with Force Projection assets
  • Design and implement integration strategies that support seamless operation across multiple training platforms

Technical Planning & Requirements Management
  • Lead development of comprehensive Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs)
  • Conduct detailed requirements analysis for virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and cloud-based training solutions
  • Translate operational training needs into technical specifications

Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Partner with the Information Assurance (IA) team to navigate the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
  • Ensure all virtual training platforms maintain valid Authority to Operate (ATO) certifications
  • Support security documentation and compliance activities

Test, Evaluation & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee contractor-conducted testing activities, including Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)
  • Verify "as-built" systems meet government specifications and performance standards
  • Review test plans, procedures, and results to ensure quality outcomes

  • Active SECRET clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred).
