Introduction to XYZ
XYZ Reality are the creators of the world's first and only engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution, purpose built for the construction industry. Not only have we created this holographic technology, that sits within The Atom - a smart, site-safe headset/hardhat - but we implement it on projects, utilising the power of AR to ensure that all schemes are completed in line with the delivery timescales and budgets.
XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and is working with Mission Critical organisations & construction companies to successfully deliver major projects.
Role Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for delivering XYZ Reality's core service on construction projects. This includes tracking construction progress against BIM models, performing quality inspections on-site, and submitting findings to the client through the XYZ platform.
This role requires individuals with practical construction experience who can quickly adopt XYZ Reality's technology and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ's Augmented Reality Device - The Atom.
  • Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.
  • Ensure these QA Issues are submitted to the client on a daily basis.
  • Be responsible for the quality of your work ensuring that it follows outlined workflows and standards.
  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on-site to ensure full coverage of the project.
  • Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience working on construction sites.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and software platforms.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).
