The DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend is looking for a Full-Time Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent to help keep our hotel running smoothly overnight. This position is a combination of guest service, Front Desk operations, and nightly financial reporting — perfect for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and deliver great hospitality even at 2:00 AM!

About the Position

As our Night Auditor, you're the face of the hotel overnight. You'll welcome late-arriving guests, assist with requests, handle Front Desk responsibilities, and complete the hotel's nightly audit and reporting process.

This is an overnight position. Applicants must have reliable availability to consistently work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel
  • Assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns
  • Answer phones and assist with reservations
  • Handle overnight Front Desk operations
  • Review and reconcile guest accounts and cashier transactions
  • Audit Front Desk and Food & Beverage transactions
  • Reconcile and transmit credit card transactions
  • Review guest billing and correct discrepancies
  • Complete the hotel's nightly audit process accurately and on time
  • Prepare and distribute required daily financial and operational reports
  • Ensure reported financial information and hotel statistics are accurate
  • Communicate unusual activity, discrepancies, or operational concerns to management
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
  • Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Work closely with Security and other overnight team members
  • Assist with additional Front Desk and hotel responsibilities as needed
We're Looking for Someone Who:
  • Isdependable and comfortable working overnight
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Has at least one year of hotel, customer service, or related experience preferred
  • Previous Front Desk or Night Audit experience is a plus
  • Is comfortable working with computers and learning hotel systems
  • Is comfortable working with numbers and basic financial information
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Can work independently and stay productive throughout the overnight shift
  • Can multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Has excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Can remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns
  • Takes initiative and knows when to involve management
  • Has reliable attendance and understands the importance of overnight coverage
  • Is available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
