Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing Audit & Assurance practice. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a public accounting professional who enjoys managing client relationships, leading audit engagements, mentoring staff, and serving a diverse portfolio of privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
  • Manage multiple engagements while ensuring budgets and deadlines are met.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff.
  • Review workpapers and financial statements prior to Partner review.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Identify opportunities to provide advisory services and additional value to clients.
  • Assist with business development and practice growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate engagement planning, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
  • 5โ€“7+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Experience serving nonprofit organizations and conducting nonprofit audits is strongly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency with accounting software and technology.
