Audio Visual Project Management (Mid-Level or Senior)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) has an exciting opportunity for an Audio Visual Project Management (Mid-Level or Senior) professional to join our team in Herndon, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Identify and maintain key project schedules and provide regular updates
  • Lead (Level 4) or actively participate (Level 3) in project planning to assess impacts and constraints related to product development, production rates, process improvements, and program initiatives
  • Coordinate with programs and capabilities to optimize resource availability aligned with project needs
  • Organize and facilitate regular working meetings to ensure team members execute assigned tasks and provide timely status, tracking, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain statements of work (SOW) for subcontracted units and coordinate make-or-buy assessments
  • Provide performance assessments of team members to management as appropriate
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems requiring creativity and ingenuity
  • Ensure effective communication between technical teams and business units to support project objectives
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • Experience with the setup and support of large-scale Audio Visual Systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 4: 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing Audio-Visual projects and related tasks
  • Strong track record in developing and managing complex project schedules
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding project teams
  • Experience managing high-visibility, mission-critical project plans
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent project schedules and effectively prioritize competing tasks
