ACES has an open position for an Audio-Visual Project Officer to support the Office of the DoW Chief Information Officer. The successful candidate will be an organized, self-motivated professional capable of working independently and effectively within a team environment. This position will focus on developing and producing training, audio-visual, and communications materials in support of the Workforce Innovation Division and the DoW Cyber Workforce (DCWF). The successful candidate will develop training modules, videos, executive briefings, fact sheets, reports, and other communications products for a variety of audiences. The position requires strong experience developing audio-visual and training materials, including products designed for social media and digital distribution. OPPORTUNITY

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, revise, and deliver Cyber workforce training materials for employees, managers, and Human Resources personnel, ensuring compliance with Section 508 requirements.
  • Develop and update training modules that provide training and upskilling opportunities for the Cyber workforce.
  • Develop video training, audio-visual materials, and other communications products to increase awareness of the DoW Cyber Workforce (DCWF) among prospective candidates and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deploy training materials explaining key program mechanics, including Cyber occupational structure, employment and placement, compensation, and benefits for servicing Human Resources practitioners.
  • Develop executive briefs, point papers, reports, information papers, action memorandums, training modules, fact sheets, and related communications products.
  • Work with government stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear and effective training and communications materials.
  • Ensure training, communications, and audio-visual products meet applicable Section 508 accessibility requirements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years of general experience in training development and production of audio-visual training materials, with particular emphasis on social media products.
  • Knowledge and practical application of Section 508 compliance requirements for digital and training products.
  • Knowledge of and experience using Canva and the Adobe Acrobat suite.
  • Experience developing video, audio-visual, training, and digital communications products.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and professionally with senior officials and senior staff.
  • Familiarity with Service- and/or OSD-level strategy, policy, governance, or resource allocation processes through previous government, military, and/or private-sector assignments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and other common office software.
  • Background and training in knowledge management and collaborative tools, including Microsoft SharePoint.
