Job description

A/V Design Engineer
Summary
Our customer is seeking an A/V Design Engineer to review all aspects of the design layout and develop the optimal package for the customer.  This individual must be able to communicate all architectural and infrastructure requirements for an A/V setup.  They also must be comfortable in a client-facing role, working directly with customers.
Requirements

  • True A/V design experience, specifically including conceptualizing and developing A/V system designs that meet client specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry standards in A/V Engineering.
  • Experience in A/V Design in corporate settings.
  • Strong soft skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.

Preferred

  • Experience with quoting/estimating software for A/V designs.
  • CTS-D certification.


This is a 6-Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.  100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately-vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.  H1-B Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.  No third-parties, please.
