Job description

We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual & Collaboration Engineer to design, deploy, and manage advanced meeting spaces and situation rooms. This role bridges hardware engineering and cloud collaboration technologies to deliver seamless hybrid communication across the enterprise. The engineer will own the end-to-end conference room ecosystem, including hands-on integration of Poly and Microsoft Surface Hub systems, project management, vendor coordination, and ITIL-aligned service delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

*Implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced AV solutions for standard conference rooms, executive suites, and situation rooms.

*Administer and support enterprise Unified Communications (UC) platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

*Lead conference room deployment projects from planning and design through implementation, testing, and production rollout.

*Manage AV vendors, equipment procurement, external service contractors, warranties, and escalations.

*Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex AV and UC incidents using ServiceNow and ITIL-based service management processes.

*Configure and support Poly/Polycom systems and Microsoft Surface Hub devices.

*Serve as the primary technical point of contact for AV and collaboration technologies, working closely with IT teams, vendors, executives, and end users.

*Ensure AV environments comply with enterprise standards, security requirements, and operational best practices.

Qualifications

*Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification required.

*Proven experience engineering and supporting enterprise AV hardware, particularly Poly/Polycom systems and Microsoft Surface Hub.

*Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.

*Solid understanding of ITIL principles and hands-on experience with ServiceNow for incident, request, and asset management.

*Experience leading conference room deployments, technical projects, and enterprise AV rollouts.

*Strong vendor management and procurement experience.

*Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.

*Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
