Functions

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintains and troubleshoots malfunctions of audio-visual, telecom, and computer equipment and software applications to ensure the availability of functional equipment and software

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provides excellent customer service by resolving user issues promptly and efficiently. Escalates complex issues to appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Performs system administration tasks to ensure data security and integrity, including user provisioning, access control, password management, and system monitoring.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Builds positive relationships with end-users by providing timely and effective communication through ticket updates, email notifications, and in-person interactions.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records of IT assets

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Trains teachers, staff, administrators, and volunteers to ensure proper and efficient usage of audio-visual and computer equipment

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Trains and supervises student assistants or temporary employees in the operation, delivery, setup, and removal of audio-visual and computer equipment

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develops user and internal documentation and training materials for audio-visual and computer equipment.

Physical Requirements:
Job requires the following physical demands: significant lifting; carrying; pushing and/or pulling of up to 50 lbs. Some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping; kneeling; crouching; and or crawling; and significant time on feet as well as fine finger dexterity.ย  Generally the job requires 5% sitting; 80% walking; 15% standing

Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:ย  ย  ย High school diploma, or GED and sixty credit hours college level classes (technical classes related to computer technology are a plus) or two years of experience in the support and maintenance of personal computers, printers, and print servers in an enterprise network environment.
