Travis Sound Design has been in business for 22 years in Delavan, Wisconsin. We offer complete commercial and residential audio integration, theater installation, as well as premium Wi-Fi and networking solutions. We are looking to hire a Low Voltage Electrician/Carpenter to work in Southeastern Wisconsin and the Chicago area. Our territory consists of Chicago, IL to Delavan, WI. You would commute between Chicago and the home office in Delavan, WI on a daily basis.
Duties Include:
Pulling audio/video/phone/data cable throughout residential and commercial buildings - Working on both newly constructed and remodeled homes and businesses - Installing speakers, TV's, control devices, network devices, racks, and Home Control, etc.

This position is electrical installation at permanent sites, not setting up live PA.
Qualifications:
Must have full Electrical knowledge and use of construction tools, such as saws, drills, and impacts, etc. Low Voltage experience is a MUST.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds independently
  • Strong mathematical skills needed
  • Good customer communication skills
  • Electrical installation knowledge
  • Knowledge of Excel and Inventory Control
  • High School Diploma
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required
  • Network or programming knowledge and computer literacy
Must live in the Northern Chicago or Southeastern Wisconsin area.
Compensation Includes: Salary of $55,000 to $65,000 per year plus medical/vision/dental benefits and a stipend for cell phone. A company vehicle is provided for all travel to customers. We do have Holiday, Sick, and Vacation pay. We also have a matching retirement account option. The schedule is Monday Friday day shift.
