We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio FOH Engineer (A1) to join our team. This role requires advanced technical expertise in live audio production, including mixing, system optimization, and troubleshooting at live events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating professional audio consoles, wireless microphone systems, and networked audio solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and strike professional audio equipment, including digital/analog mixing consoles, speaker systems, and microphone setups.
  • Mix and manage Front of House (FOH) audio for live events, ensuring high-quality sound reproduction.
  • Operate and optimize audio consoles, including Yamaha, Midas, and Allen & Heath systems.
  • Configure and manage professional speaker systems, including QSC, JBL, and L-Acoustics.
  • Set up and manage Shure wireless microphone systems, ensuring clear frequency coordination and minimal interference.
  • Use and troubleshoot Shure Workbench and LA Network Manager for audio system monitoring and optimization.
  • Perform basic lighting operations on event consoles.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in real time to prevent interruptions during events.
  • Ensure all audio content is properly mixed, balanced, and aligned with the event's requirements.
  • Maintain and organize audio equipment inventory, ensuring proper transportation and storage.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Audio FOH Engineer (A1) in live event production.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience audio systems and consoles.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting live event lighting systems.
  • Ability to perform full setup and strike of audio systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
  • Experience working in an AV company.
