Data Governance Analyst

We are currently seeking a full-time, in office, Data Governance Analyst for our West Jordan, UT location.

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of core business systems and processes. You will be responsible for supporting end users by maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting system issues, and serving as the liaison between business and technical teams to drive continuous system improvement efforts.

Duties include:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to support departments on Salesforce, SAP By Design, and other internal software.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to pull and compile data from various data sources. Then, use said data to identify & correct data inconsistencies, along with provide suggestions to address the underlying root cause of the inconsistency.
  • Facilitate weekly sprint check-in meetings and biweekly sprint planning sessions to ensure alignment and progress between developers and stakeholders.
  • Perform validation testing on new system builds to mitigate end user impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system workflows and data quality.
  • Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion with varying priorities.
  • Apply exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience with CRM, ERP, and Ticketing software (Salesforce Experience Preferred)
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency (Complex Functions, Data Manipulation, Pivot Tables, Etc.)
  • Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Experience working with Data Clean Up, Validation, and Bulk Updates
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Prior experience or familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to time sensitive issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey technical concepts to audiences of varying levels of technical expertise
  • Prior experience in operations, business systems, and support roles (Strongly Preferred)
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting system integration related issues (Preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL (Preferred)
