Job description

My Wireless is looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial Sales Executive – Strategic Events to join our growing Strategic Selling team. This is not a traditional retail role. Our Strategic Sellers operate across three distinct channels and are expected to be self-starters who can build a pipeline, show up where customers live their lives, and drive real results for AT&T wireless and fiber.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives outside of four walls, enjoys community engagement, and wants the freedom and accountability of building their own book of business.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Commission-only compensation structure with uncapped earning potential.

  • 90-day guarantee period available for qualified candidates

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.

  • 401(k) plan with company match.

  • Mileage reimbursement program.

  • Ongoing AT&T product training, field support, and access to My Wireless’s full event toolkit.

  • Clear path to advancement within the My Wireless Strategic Selling organization.

Key Responsibilities

Outside Event Sales (60%)

  • Execute 15–20+ outside events per month, with the majority sourced through AT&T Corporate Leadership and My Wireless event partnerships (farmers markets, community fairs, local business pop-ups, neighborhood events, and similar high-traffic venues). Self-sourced events are encouraged as an incremental layer to maximize your pipeline.

  • Coordinate with AT&T Corporate Leadership and your Regional Director to receive and confirm assigned events, while proactively building a self-sourced pipeline of incremental opportunities to supplement your calendar.

  • Engage directly with prospective customers at events, demonstrate AT&T wireless and fiber products, and close sales on the spot.

  • Manage all event logistics including setup, staffing, materials, and post-event follow-up.

  • Drive wireless production at every event — this is a non-negotiable expectation regardless of the event’s primary focus.

AT&T Connected Communities (ACC) Property Activity (20%)

  • Attend, support, and staff events at AT&T Connected Communities (ACC)-assigned properties within your designated territory, as approved and assigned by your Regional Director.

  • Once ACC properties are assigned by your Regional Director, build and nurture relationships with AT&T Connected Communities (ACC) Account Managers and Leasing Partners to strengthen My Wireless’s presence and goodwill within those communities.

  • Serve as a visible My Wireless ambassador within the ACC ecosystem, reinforcing our commitment to the properties we are assigned.

  • Coordinate with your Regional Director on ACC event scheduling, reporting, and any Spotio classification updates for ACC properties.

Retail Store Support (20%)

  • Partner with My Wireless retail store leadership (Retail Sales Managers and Assistant Sales Managers) to drive floor traffic and in-store conversion.

  • Support retail teams during high-opportunity periods, local promotions, and new product launches.

  • Leverage retail locations as a home base for customer follow-up and post-event transaction completion.

  • Act as a resource and culture-carrier who elevates the in-store energy when present.

Cross-Channel & Performance

  • Track and report on event performance, channel mix, sales outcomes, and activity completion using Spotio and other My Wireless tools.

  • Maintain accurate records of properties visited, events executed, and sales results to support weekly reporting by your Regional Director.

  • Participate in team meetings, regional huddles, and AT&T training as required.

  • Adhere to all AT&T compliance requirements, My Wireless policies, and field activity standards (including 80% field activity expectations).

  • 2+ years of sales experience; telecommunications, wireless, fiber, or door-to-door/events experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage a calendar, build a pipeline, and execute consistently without close supervision.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a performance-based environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to engage diverse audiences and build rapport quickly.

  • Comfortable with technology including CRM tools (Spotio experience a plus), mobile apps, and AT&T systems.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required — this role requires regular travel within your assigned territory.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you see opportunity everywhere and know how to turn a conversation into a customer.
