Position Summary
Ohio State ATI seeks a Semester Lecturer to provide instruction in Engineering Technology courses and contribute to program growth and laboratory development. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, support student learning and engagement, and assist with the continuous improvement of the Engineering Technology curriculum and laboratory spaces.
Teaching Responsibilities (90%)
Teach the following Engineering Technology courses:
  • ENGTECH 2310 (3 credits: 2 lectures, 1 laboratory)
  • ENGTECH 2612T (3 credits: 2 lectures, 1 laboratory)
  • ENGTECH 2613T (3 credits: 2 lectures, 1 laboratory)

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and delivering lectures and laboratory instruction.
  • Developing and maintaining course materials and assessments.
  • Evaluating student performance and providing timely feedback.
  • Holding office hours and supporting student success.
  • Maintaining a safe and effective learning environment in laboratory settings.

Service and Program Support (10%)
  • Assist with Engineering Technology program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support laboratory development, organization, equipment maintenance, and instructional resource enhancement.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum and program needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering technology, Agricultural Systems Management, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in classroom and laboratory settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
