Job description

Do you want to travel? Are you driven by using your technical skills to help customers? Join an industry leader! Acoustic Technology, Inc. (ATI) headquartered in Boston, MA. ATI offers the world's most reliable and technically advanced wireless Mass Notification Systems (MNS) and Emergency Voice Communication, and we are looking for a Field Technician. Our Electronic Field Technicians are responsible for Testing and Maintaining Emergency Warning Systems and Field Implementation. The ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Technical familiarity with Radio Communications and/or Installation of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally- with possibility of working weekends
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 (+) years' experience in electronics and communication related fields
  • Familiarity with RF and Cell Modem communication systems
  • Basic computer skills and configuration
  • Network set-up and configuration is a plus
  • Familiarity with electronic lab equipment
  • Must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check
  • Must be able to lift equipment up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Successful testing and start-up of Emergency Warning Systems at clients' sites
  • Training new and existing clients on products, their use and maintenance of the system
  • Factory testing of in-house products
