Job Summary

A Servant's Heart Medical Staffing is seeking an experiencedย Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)ย for an urgent full-time assignment with aย Family Medicine & Wellness clinic. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a physician's office and experience using the Athena or Epic EHR system.

Responsibilities
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Document patient information in the electronic health record
  • Assist providers during patient examinations
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
  • Coordinate referrals, lab work, and other administrative duties
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms
  • Provide excellent patient care while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
  • Currentย Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)ย certification
  • Minimumย 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • Athena EHR experience is highly preferred
  • Epic EHR experience is also encouragedย and will be considered a strong alternative
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
