Job Title

Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES is an educational agency serving nine school districts in the New York State counties of Monroe and Orleans. Pay Scale: $20.00 per hour

Location: Greece Athena & Hilton High Schools

Program Dates: July 9-August 17, four (4) hours per day (no school 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31) August 18 & 19, seven (7) hours per day, Regents exam days Must be able to work all dates

Job Description: Provide student supervision and safety for the Regional Summer School Program.

Typical Duties:

  • Monitor student supervision and safety.
  • Coordinate and supervise school bus arrivals and departures.
  • Support implementation of school Code of Conduct and student management system.
  • Assist with record keeping requirements of student management system.
  • Liaison to law enforcement if necessary.
  • Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Regional Summer School site principal.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience as local school district security personnel preferred
  • Educational: Proof of current registration as a Security Guard with the NYS Department of State
