Auria is looking to hire a Senior Integration and Test (I amp;T) Engineer to support the adaptation of Auria’s Battlespace Operational Readiness Game (BORG™) to the Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) for the USSF Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM). The OTTI seeks to establish live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training environments that enable Guardians to test, train, and develop tactics in an operationally relevant scheme to achieve and sustain full spectrum readiness. This role is HYBRID in Colorado Springs, CO.
The ideal candidate will take a lead role in ensuring success in the integration, test, and accreditation of BORG™ software into government cloud environments. Tasks will include verifying system requirements are met, isolating system-level defects, and participating in formal test events. Occasional travel to customer and government sites is expected with this position.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Train and lead our team in integration and test activities, ensuring the team is set up for success.
  • Work with cybersecurity to prepare for critical software accreditation milestones.
  • Design, develop, and implement manual and automated software unit and end-to-end system-level tests in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Test (CI/CD) environment.
  • Determine the verification approach for system requirements and isolate software and system-level defects.
  • Plan, conduct, and participate in formal test events at customer sites with government stakeholders to validate system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical leadership as a key member of an Agile Scrum team.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in an engineering field.
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in I amp;T of operational government systems.
  • Hands-on experience testing new software releases, verifying system functionality, requirements traceability, and documenting test outcomes.
  • Experience with automated testing concepts and tools (e.g., Eggplant, Cypress)
  • Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation, and test reporting.
  • Proven ability to isolate and resolve system-level issues, provide design feedback, and implement corrective actions across interdependent components.
  • Demonstrated ability to train personnel on relevant applications, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple test and demonstration events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive team approach.
  • Active Secret clearance with Top Secret (TS) / Special Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
  • Experience with Ansys Systems Tool Kit (STK), AFSIM, Kafka, DIS, or related M amp;S technologies.
  • Experience performing I amp;T on space systems, operational systems, and/or live, virtual, and constructive environments (LVC).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment, especially involving GitLab CI/CD, building and testing Docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education amp; experience - and the position level. $121,000 - $173,000
