Job description

Our government relations consulting business area allows us to represent and support leaders in the defense, aerospace, intelligence, and related industries with decades of experience in market analysis and strategic planning.
We are looking for highly qualified candidates for an upcoming contract positioned onsite at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) SSHINE contract.
Spacecraft AI&T Engineer:
Qualified candidates are knowledgeable spacecraft Assembly, Integration, and Test engineers with experience working on classified programs. Launch site experience preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supports the assembly, integration, and testing activities for satellite systems, ensuring the deployment and operation of satellites. Defines and procures ground support equipment (GSE) for testing and integration activities. Develops and executes satellite integration and testing procedures, including environmental tests such as vibration, thermal vacuum, and electromagnetic interference. Manages the verification and validation process, ensuring compliance with requirements and standards. Coordinates with cross-functional teams, including design, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers, to integrate and test satellite subsystems and components. Conducts risk assessments, identifies potential issues, and implements mitigation strategies to ensure the reliability and safety of satellite operations. Participates in the spacecraft unit qualification test campaigns and supports launch site operations. Maintains detailed documentation of integration and testing activities, including test plans, procedures, and results. Collaborates with external vendors and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the assembly, integration, and testing process.
Education Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with BS degree or 5+ years of experience with MS degree or 0+ years of experience with PhD degree.

Clearance Requirements:
  • TS with ability to obtain SCI.
