We're looking for an enthusiastic On-Air Personality to join our energetic team overseeing our live Pokémon card-breaking sessions for WeTheHobby's Evolution channel. If you're a natural entertainer with a love for Pokémon and a flair for live streaming, this role is your chance to combine passion with performance.
As part of our growing team, you'll host interactive live streams, showcase high-demand Pokémon products, and connect with an engaged audience of collectors. You'll also play a key role in representing WeTheHobby at industry events and helping build our digital presence.
What You'll Do:
  • Go Live with Confidence: Host exciting live-streamed Pokémon card breaks, delivering energy and expertise to captivate viewers.
  • Engage with Fans: Create a welcoming and interactive atmosphere, responding to audience questions and building relationships.
  • Showcase Products: Promote current and upcoming Pokémon products, emphasizing their value to both seasoned and new collectors.
  • Maintain Card Integrity: Carefully handle and organize cards during live sessions, ensuring quality and accuracy for customers.
  • Build the Brand: Collaborate with our marketing team to generate social media content and expand WeTheHobby's online reach.
  • Attend Industry Events: Represent the brand at card shows and community events, connecting with collectors and partners.
  • Innovate the Experience: Continuously improve how we engage, entertain, and grow our fanbase through feedback and creativity.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • Passion for Pokémon: A genuine enthusiasm for Pokémon cards, collectibles, and the culture surrounding them.
  • Natural Performer: Comfortable in front of a camera, with a lively and engaging personality.
  • Live-Streaming Know-How: Familiarity with platforms like Whatnot, plus experience using streaming equipment.

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated pre-commission base salary upon hire for this position based upon location in Rochester, NY, and experience is $60,000 annually.
On-Air Personalities earn on average combined total compensation of $75k - $110k annually. To comply with Federal law, WeTheHobby participates in E-Verify. All newly hired employees are verified through this electronic system established by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to confirm their identity and employment eligibility.
