Job Title: Patient Services Representative (Telephone Operator)
Location: Main Clinic
Positions Available: 1

We are seeking two dependable, patient-focused Patient Services Representatives to support our telephone operations. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized in a high-volume environment, and understands that excellent customer service begins with the first phone call.


What you'll do

Answer a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
Schedule patient appointments accurately based on provider and visit type guidelines
Gather and document necessary information, including insurance and patient history when appropriate
Create and complete phone notes to ensure clear communication within the care team
Route calls and messages appropriately to clinical staff and departments
Assist patients with questions related to scheduling, referrals, and office processes
Provide a calm, helpful experience for patients calling the clinic
Collaborate closely with front office, clinical staff, and referral coordinators to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately


What we're looking for

Healthcare experience strongly preferred
Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with electronic medical records and scheduling systems
