Advanced Medical Care At Home Rn

Brightstar Care is looking for passionate RNs committed to delivering exceptional care to join our team in a new program for Advanced Medical Care at home. Be a part of an exciting new venture with a nationally recognized healthcare organization providing emergency room care in the home.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for starting the patients care which includes a comprehensive nursing assessment, medication reconciliation, safety assessments and participate in telehealth rounds with physicians,
  • Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible outcome.
  • Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administrating injections etc.) and fill in patient's charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient's medication (typically intravenously) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families and educate the patient and family members on how to manage the illness with the goal of recovering the health and well-being of the patient.
  • Proven experience as a registered nurse and inpatient experience preferably in an emergency room environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to always follow them.
  • Responsible and compassionate.
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
