This is a full-time, on-site position requiring in-office attendance Monday through Friday in Sterling, Virginia. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

Position Summary

As a HVAC Service Coordinator / Dispatcher, you will coordinate incoming service requests, schedule and dispatch technicians, monitor work order progress, and serve as a primary point of contact for customers. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service will help ensure efficient daily operations and a positive customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, prioritize, and dispatch service calls to HVAC technicians.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding appointments, scheduling, and service updates.
  • Create accurate work orders and monitor jobs from initiation through completion.
  • Support field technicians by coordinating schedules and assisting with service-related needs.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to support efficient daily operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Previous dispatching, service coordination, customer service, administrative, or call center experience.
  • Experience in the HVAC, construction, facilities maintenance, or other field service industries.
  • Familiarity with dispatching or service management software.
