Which 2 year degree pays the most?

Specializing in accounting software and gaining certifications like QuickBooks or CPA can increase earning potential.

What types of entry-level roles can I expect to qualify for with an associate’s degree in accounting, and what are the typical responsibilities in these positions?

With an associate’s degree in accounting, you can pursue entry-level positions such as accounting clerk, bookkeeping assistant, payroll assistant, or accounts payable/receivable clerk. In these roles, you’ll typically be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining financial records, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting senior accountants with data entry and administrative tasks.
