Role Description: The Technical Writer must have 2-3 years of experience. We are seeking a temporary Technical Writer to support documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related work instructions for SAP-enabled business processes across Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will partner with Value Stream Leads, business SMEs, and project team members to capture and document business processes in a clear, consistent, and controlled format. The role is intended to augment the documentation workload of the Value Stream Leads so they can remain focused on business operations and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in support of SAP implementation success.

You should have practical knowledge of Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Manufacturing operations. Experience in solar module manufacturing is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document SOPs, work instructions, and process guides for SAP-enabled business processes.

- Work with Value Stream Leads and SMEs to capture process flows, roles, decision points, exceptions, and controls.

- Translate operational and system processes into clear, user-ready documentation.

- Participate in process walkthroughs, workshops, and working sessions to gather documentation requirements.

- Review and revise documentation based on stakeholder feedback.

- Maintain documentation consistency, organization, and version control.

- Support documentation readiness for UAT, training, go-live, and operational sustainment.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing, SOP development, or process documentation.**

- Experience documenting processes in Supply Chain, Warehouse, and/or Manufacturing environments.**

- Strong understanding of operational workflows, process documentation practices, and experience supporting cross-functional work with SMEs to gather and validate business process content.**

- Strong written communication, organization, and attention to detail.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Associate's Degree (minimum required) with significant technical writing experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting SAP implementations or documenting SAP-enabled business processes.

- Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, production processes, procurement, and material movement.

- Experience in solar module manufacturing preferred.

- Experience supporting UAT, training documentation, or go-live readiness.
