We are adding to the E Tech Group Team! We are seeking an AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical Designer to create and modify technical drawings, schematics, and electrical layouts using AutoCAD software. You will be collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements

50% travel to project locations as required.

You will:

  • Develop and revise 2D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
  • Interpret technical documents, blueprints, and sketches to create accurate drawings.
  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and circuit designs using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Create PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
  • Design electrical control systems for industrial automation, power distribution, and equipment.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring version control.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.

You have:

  • 3 years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical (for electrical designers).
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel design (for AutoCAD Electrical roles).
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, IEC, IEEE, or ANSI (for electrical designers).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines.
  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
