You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and architecting large-scale, cloud-based applications, including leading architecture sessions and providing implementation guidance
  • Experience using an MBSE approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices for strategic planning, portfolio management, and architecture development and management, including UAF, EA, DoDAF, BPMN, UML, SysML, ERD, and IDEF methods
  • Knowledge of developing and reviewing enterprise architecture, including in support of transformation, system development, and governance and compliance of IT systems for the DoD such as FISMA or the Clinger-Cohen Act
  • Ability to comprehend stakeholder needs effectively and communicate them via architecture models
  • Ability to successfully work on cross-functional projects and teams
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with solution architects to decompose application components and determine how to leverage various technologies found with modern cloud services
  • Experience with advanced analytics, data science, including MI, ML, or RPA, integration, API, microservices, and user experience
  • Experience supporting overall systems engineering and integration efforts for the DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, creating, and completing user stories and tasks, and using common Agile tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
  • Master's degree
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) Certifications such as Associate SEP (ASEP), Certified SEP (CSEP), and Expert SEP (ESEP) Certifications
  • SysML Certifications such as OCSMP Model User (MU), Model Builder Fundamental (MBF), Model Builder Intermediate (MBI), and Model Builder Advanced (MBA) Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
