Job Summary:
A Windows Server Administrator job in Clayton, NC is currently available through Belcan with one of our key International Pharmaceutical clients. In this role, you will be responsible for Windows Systems Administration and support of databases, such as SQL. In addition, you will assist with Firewall Configuration and network security. To be considered for this role, you will have at least five years of windows server & systems administration experience and ideally an Associate or Bachelor"s degree in a relevant IT field.
Windows Server Administrator Job Duties:
* Perform Windows Systems & Server 2016/2019/2022 Administration duties
* Provide support for various database systems, including SQL Server 2012-2022
* Assist IT Team with Firewall Configuration & Network Security issues as it applies to this role
*โ€‚VMware virtualization basic operations (vmotion, configuration of VMs, basic troubleshooting)
* Triage support emails and calls
Job Qualifications:
* Prefer an AS or BS degree in a relevant field and/or certifications
* Five years of experience with Windows Systems, Windows Server and Network Administration
* Experience supporting database systems, including SQL servers and if possible Always On Clusters
* Experience supporting and operating VMware ESX servers and vSAN clusters.
* Availability to travel periodically as required, and availability to work outside of normal business hours and on-call shifts
* Attention to detail and procedure driven
