Location: Raleigh, NC (27699)

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to maintain and optimize our on-prem and cloud infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with IT teams to implement cloud strategies, ensuring system performance, security, and compliance, and providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in managing cloud environments and virtual machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain cloud servers, applications, and services.
  • Monitor resource utilization and manage efficient use of cloud resources.
  • Identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities and security threats.
  • Maintain acceptable configurations and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide timely detection of possible attacks and anomalous activities.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Azure VM and Nutanix.
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining and patching Microsoft Windows VMs.
