We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst with a strong focus on demand planning and inbound logistics to support our growing North American operation. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, coordinating international inbound supply, and ensuring product availability while managing cost, lead times, and compliance requirements. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, purchasing, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth importation of goods, effective inventory positioning, and minimal disruption to the supply chain.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and operations teams to improve forecast accuracy and alignment.

Inbound Supply Planning:

  • Translate demand forecasts into inbound supply plans aligned with production and supplier lead times.
  • Ensure inbound purchase orders support inventory targets and service-level goals.

  • Manage inbound shipments from international suppliers, including ocean and air freight.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customs brokers to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels across warehouses to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Identify and address slow-moving or at-risk inventory tied to forecast variance or lead-time changes.

Inbound Logistics Performance:

  • Track inbound transit times, port delays, and carrier performance against expectations.
  • Identify root causes of delays and recommend corrective actions.

Supply Chain Cost Analysis:

  • Analyze freight, duty, and landed-cost data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for inbound logistics expenses.

ERP & Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate supply, lead-time, and shipment data within ERP and planning systems (NetSuite/NetStock).
  • Improve data reliability to support forecasting, inventory planning, and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with purchasing on supplier planning, MOQ alignment, and production timing.
  • Support new product introductions by planning inbound timelines and inventory readiness.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management:

  • Proactively identify supply risk related to capacity, lead times, ports, or regulatory changes.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen inbound visibility and demand responsiveness.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  2. 2-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain analytics.
  3. Direct experience managing international imports, including ocean/air freight coordination.
