Job description

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9:50 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during assigned lunch periods.
  • Monitor student behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and orderly environment.
  • Assist students as needed while encouraging positive interactions and appropriate behavior.
  • Reinforce school rules and expectations consistently and respectfully.
  • Communicate concerns or incidents to the appropriate administrator in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and support staff to maintain a positive school environment.
  • Monitor assigned areas, which may include the cafeteria, hallways, outside, or other supervision locations.
  • Assist with arrival, dismissal, or other student supervision duties as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Excellent work record.
  • Previous experience working with school-age children.
  • Must display a positive attitude with students, staff, and parents at all times.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of staff members.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to supervise and interact with large groups of students.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Serve as a positive role model for students.
  • Good moral character.
