TITLE: Software Development Engineering Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Transform business needs into technical documents while spearheading application development. Ensure the quality of deliverables, conduct code reviews, analyze production challenges, and provide prompt resolutions. Design, code, and integrate new functionalities, implement security protocols, and ensure adherence to industry standards. Provide support to quality assurance teams throughout the testing phase, prepare release documentation, and address any issues in a timely manner. Play an active role in project meetings and sprint planning sessions, as well as ensure that stakeholders are kept updated on progress and timelines. Support network certifications, manage application deployments, and collaborate with international teams to clarify requirements and develop effective solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software development experience in acquiring-side payment transactions processing. Prior experience must include 4 years in the following: Working with Microsoft Windows architecture and distributed systems; Using .NET Core, C#, REST APIs and Microsoft SQL Server; Implementing API security using mTLS, JWT, SSO, and token based authentication; Supporting cloud hosted solutions; Working with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, serverless architectures, EC2 and cloud native deployment models including microservices and containerization; Working with message queues, NoSQL databases, and distributed caching systems; Configuring and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines; Supporting high availability and scalable enterprise applications including financial and payment related systems; Working with TCP/IP networking and socket programming; and Working in Agile environments. Prior experience must also include 2 years working with AWS, AuthO, and Docker.
