What’s a typical day as Inside Sales Representative? You’ll be:
  • Managing legacy customer accounts, maintaining active relationships, and proactively communicating order status and delivery schedules.
  • Processing customer purchase orders, entering and updating sales orders, RMAs, and related transactions in Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system.
  • Providing order confirmations, lead times, and delivery status updates to customers via phone and email.
  • Coordinating domestic and international shipping logistics, including carrier selection, account management, and delivery tracking.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Supporting RFQ (Request for Quote) management and preparing quotations for specialized products.
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team, generating sales reports, and updating sales-related records.
  • Assisting in production meetings, quote meetings, and internal planning sessions.
  • Helping with AR collections and supporting the drafting/editing of sales procedures and documentation.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have an associate degree in business, supply chain management, or related field – or equivalent experience (high school diploma/GED with 3+ years relevant experience considered).
  • Bring 2–3 years’ experience in inside sales, customer service, order management, or administrative support (preferably in a manufacturing/B2B setting).
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar).
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-oriented demeanor.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have proficient math skills for estimating, pricing, and reconciliation.
  • Thrive working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
