Job Description:
Territory: New Jersey
The focus of this role will be to learn how assess commercial HVAC requirements, propose tailored solutions, and support more senior sales engineers in delivering projects that improve comfort, efficiency, and operational performance for our customers. Your work will directly contribute to winning new business and strengthening client trust. As you progress in knowledge and experience this role involves managing and expanding our HVAC sales within designated territory, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This position is also responsible for the application and sales of heating and air conditioning equipment in commercial and industrial buildings for their developed customer base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the acquisition of orders by managing an existing portfolio of customers as well as developing new business relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, end-users and mechanical contractors
  • Analyze customer's needs by understanding design requirements and the application of available product features and performance. Engineer solutions that meet the technical and budget requirements of the client.
  • Assist consulting engineers in selecting equipment to meet project performance requirements and develop specifications that document the product features necessary to meet those requirements.
  • Work with inside application engineering team to generate accurate project proposals, coordinate scheduling and deliver project documentation.
  • Promote the product portfolio and the company by participating in local industry associations, networking groups and trade shows.
  • Prepare and deliver promotional and educational presentations to consulting engineers, design-build contractors, end-users and mechanical contractors
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive products and system performance, including understanding of current market pricing.
  • Attend project job meetings and walk-throughs.
  • Participate in on-going career development and training programs to keep pace with the latest technology and applications.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to management
  • Collaborate with fellow sales associates to enhance the services provided to our marketplace and our customers.

Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to read and interpret complex documents.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
