RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every 5th weekend on-call required
• On-call requirements once per week with 20-minute preferred response time (not to exceed 30 minutes)
• Float to PACU or fill sitter needs throughout hospital if low census in OR
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior facilities
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Must be willing to scrub in to assist when needed
• Work in 5 ORs and 1 procedure room with specialties including OB/GYN, General, Ortho, Spine, ENT, Podiatry, and Pain
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin or compact RN license, AHA or ARC BLS, AHA or ARC ACLS preferred
• Associate degree or BSN required
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to manage independently
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccinations
