Job description

Hattie Larlham is looking for caring and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) who want to be part of a mission based on Comfort, Joy, and Achievement for adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. 

Opening:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric to Adult
  • Full-Time / Part- Time Scheduling Options:
    • FT Days: 6:30am - 7:00pm
    • PT Days: 6:30am - 7:00pm
    • FT Nights: 6:30pm - 7:00am
    • PT Nights: 6:30pm - 7:00am
  • Every other weekend and holiday required.
  • Location: Nestled in northern Portage County, between Cleveland and Akron, is the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, a long-term intermediate care facility that provides medical services for 124 children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Utilize, maintain and grow your nursing skills!
  • Provide autonomous care to adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Administer medications.
  • Care for individuals with central lines.
  • Care for ventilator dependent individuals.
  • Participate in provider rounds.
  • Make recommendations to the medical team based on your assessments.
  • Receive training to help you feel confident in your abilities and skills.
  • Feel appreciated by the residents, families, staff and Administration.
