Our team brings a clinic-like experience directly to patients through bedside consultations and diagnostics, while advanced vascular procedures are performed in our procedure suites and partner facilities.

Position Overview:
Primary Vascular Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis supporting vascular procedures in an outpatient procedural setting.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and has experience with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care. This role involves working closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, radiologic technologists, and other clinical team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled vascular team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care before, during, and after vascular procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist with patient flow throughout the center.
  • Monitor patients continuously during the recovery phase.
  • Assess and evaluate patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Document all nursing activities, recovery notes, and discharge-related information.
  • Assist the physician, anesthesiologist, or other attending provider as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, radiologic technologists, and clinical staff to support safe and efficient procedural care.
  • Ensure equipment, medications, and necessary supplies are stocked, available, and ready for use.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and nursing standards.
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, management, and other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse License required.
  • Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association required.
  • Moderate Conscious Sedation Certification preferred.
  • Physical, vaccines, and titers required, including PPD/TB, Hep B, MMR, and Varicella.
  • COVID and Flu Vaccine preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ year of recovery room, critical care, emergency room, interventional radiology, ambulatory surgery, or similar procedural nursing experience preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills required.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in vascular, interventional, or outpatient surgery center settings.
  • Experience with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care.
  • Experience monitoring patients during recovery.
  • Familiarity with procedural nursing, sedation cases, and outpatient clinical workflows.
  • Prior experience in an OBL, ASC, interventional radiology, or hospital procedural setting.
