As a Risk Management Strategic Analytics Senior Associate on the Chase Auto Risk Data and Reporting team, you will support and handle strategic analytical work for the Auto Risk organization.  Responsibilities include managing reporting and ad-hoc analytics needs for the Risk Oversight function, partner with Capital Markets to support Securitization activities, produce competitor and industry decks and analytics, coordination with first and second line of defense teams to produce necessary reporting and validation of monthly BCBS reporting for accuracy. As a successful candidate, you will excel at creative thinking, problem solving, effective communication, project and relationship management, and should be detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of Financial Services, Risk Management, Commercial and/or Retail Auto Portfolio
  • Possess strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functions and levels; comfort collaborating with teammates in a virtual environment
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Contribute to productive teamwork and a team that is committed to sharing information.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience in data analytics required
  • Experience working with databases such as Teradata, Oracle and Hadoop
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Strong knowledge of SAS and Python
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills using analytics
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, confident, and proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong presence, comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Experience with AWS recommended
  • Prior experience in Risk preferred
