Medical Clerical Receptionist - Kearny Mesa
A well-known healthcare organization in Kearny Mesa is seeking a Medical Clerical Receptionist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about patient care and looking for schedule flexibility in a dynamic medical environment.
This role requires someone with full open availability to work 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, any day Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage high-volume phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
  • Check in/out patients and verify insurance and eligibility
  • Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
  • Maintain and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Handle medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Support clinical staff with clerical and administrative duties
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Details:
  • Must have full availability to work any 8-hour shift, 5 days a week
  • Shifts can be scheduled Monday-Sunday between 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM
  • Onsite role in Kearny Mesa, San Diego
  • Compensation: $25.00 per hour
