ABOUT THIS TEMP POSITION

This is a temporary position and the length of assignment is estimated to go from August 2026 through December 2026. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with. This is a part-time opportunity, one day a week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every Wednesday.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, this position:

  • Performs highly visible greeting and communication functions for employees, member, providers, and visitors, routes calls, and trains other staff in reception function
  • Provides administrative and clerical support related to Facilities and Administrative Services Department activities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Knowledge of:
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • General administrative procedures and standard business office practices
    • The principles and practices of customer service
    • The utilization of multi-line telephone systems
    • Windows based PC systems, Microsoft Word and Outlook

  • Ability to:
    • Respond to callers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
    • Perform multiple tasks within allocated timeframes
    • Interpret, explain, and apply processes, policies and procedures
    • Create forms, documents and correspondence
    • Coordination of special events and projects
    • Exercise tact and diplomacy and demonstrate strong customer service skills

  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Two years of experience performing general clerical and reception duties (an Associate's degree may substitute for one year of the required experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying



OTHER INFORMATION
  • We are in a hybrid work environment, and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.
  • While some staff may work full telecommuting schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.
  • In-office or in-community presence may be required for some positions and is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

  • Zone 1 Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.00
    Typical areas in Zone 1: Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties, Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Diego areas

The applicable salary ranges are based on work location and are aligned to a zone according to the cost of labor in your area. All ranges are subject to change in the future. The posted hiring ranges represent a goodfaith estimate of what a temporary employee would be paid on this assignment. Final compensation will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate's qualifications (direct or transferable experience related to the position, education, or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).
