About the Role:
Grace Senior Living Rochester Hills is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our team in Rochester Hills, MI. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organization where your communication skills and positive attitude will make a real impact every day. The receptionist is the first contact for all visitors. This position requires creating a good first impression through professionalism and being courteous to everyone who walks in and/or calls the community.
 
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate departments
  • Manage front desk operations, including maintaining a clean and organized reception area
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed to support office operations
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper check-in and check-out procedures
  • Collects the residents’ mail and prepares it for distribution
  • Performs community mail duties such as receiving and sending packages
  • Assists with preparing community brochure packets when necessary and keeps an ample supply at the reception        
  • Keeps interaction with co-workers to a minimum maintaining professionalism in lobby area 
  • Dresses professionally and is professional at all times   
  • Possess and maintains knowledge of the community, its benefits, services provided, the residents and associates
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work every other weekend
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and a warm, welcoming demeanor
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
