A good receptionist must check every visitor who comes to our office, and maintain visitor logs. He or she will need to handle a variety of tasks, such as faxing, taking and routing phone calls, sending mail, making travel plans, and preparing meeting rooms.
A good job candidate must be professional and friendly, especially when dealing with clients. Excellent service is a must for great customer experiences.
Responsibilities of a Receptionist:
Welcoming and greeting clients
Performing safety checks and issuing visitor badges
Directing clients around the office
Maintaining visitor logs
Answering and forwarding phone calls
Scheduling appointments
Organizing and distributing mail
Copying, faxing and performing other administrative tasks
