Remote Licensed Therapist - New Jersey
1099 Independent Contractor | Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our growing integrative mental health practice serving adolescents and adults across New Jersey. This is a fully remote, 1099 contractor role offering flexible scheduling, competitive hourly reimbursement, and the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Our clinicians work with individuals presenting with complex mental health concerns, trauma, and co-occurring disorders, often requiring thoughtful collaboration with psychiatric providers and other members of our integrative care team.

This position is ideal for therapists who value clinical autonomy, meaningful collaboration, and working with clients seeking deeper therapeutic work.

What You'll Do
  • Provide telehealth psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults in New Jersey

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches tailored to each client

  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers and members of the integrative care team when clinically appropriate

  • Maintain ethical, timely clinical documentation and treatment planning in accordance with insurance payer requirements, as our practice is in-network with commercial insurance plans

  • Participate in consultation and collaborative care when needed

Required Qualifications
  • Active clinical license in New Jersey (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

  • Reliable private home office space suitable for confidential telehealth sessions

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection

  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Clinical Experience

We are particularly interested in clinicians who have experience working with more complex presentations, including:

  • Higher levels of care (PHP, IOP, residential, hospital settings)

  • Co-occurring disorders, including substance use and eating disorders

  • Experience collaborating with psychiatric providers and multidisciplinary teams

  • Working with adolescents and adults

Highly Valued Clinical Specializations

Clinicians with the following advanced training or experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)

  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) or other psychedelic-assisted therapy training

  • Additional trauma-focused or specialized modalities
