Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering, planning, design development, and contract negotiations for water resources and roadway projects.
  • Prepare and finalize engineering reports, plans, specifications, and project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures to meet project standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and drafters, overseeing day-to-day operations and project performance.
  • Prepare project proposals, budgets, schedules, and invoices, monitoring costs to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Coordinate with clients and owners, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns or issues.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support project objectives and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Texas Professional Engineer license
  • 10-15 years of experience as a Professional Engineer / Project Manager, with specialization in water resources (waterline projects) and/or roadway design experience considered a secondary focus.
  • Demonstrated project engineering and management experience, including oversight of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, and other design/project management software.
  • Experience working with local municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utility entities.
  • Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to guide, train, and inspire engineers, ensuring quality and timely project deliverables.
  • Proven ability to satisfy clients with high-quality work and adherence to project timelines.
  • Candidates must be local to the Houston area.
