I&E Project Associate

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as an I&E Project Associate and play a vital role in supporting the engineering and execution of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for large-scale EPC projects in the natural gas, petrochemical, and liquids industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a "safety first" culture across all project activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of engineering tasks, including scheduling, project controls, procurement, and construction coordination.
  • Assist in specifying and overseeing the design of DCS, SIS, and PLC systems.
  • Develop and review technical documents such as Instrument Index, I/O List, electrical equipment specifications, and control system architecture.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams.
  • Conduct power system analyses, including short circuit and arc flash studies.
  • Develop hazardous area classification drawings and specify appropriately rated equipment.
  • Support the development of process control philosophies and architecture.
  • Participate in the creation of P&IDs, procurement packages, and design coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage in project meetings, risk assessments, and safety reviews.
  • Manage subcontractor scope of work and ensure timely execution.
  • Provide field support during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests for electrical and control equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering principles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Professional Engineering license.
  • Experience with EPC project execution.
