Job Summary: Project Engineer I - Gas & Liquids Pipelines
Location: Houston, TX, 77079 - United States
About the Role
Step into an impactful early-career engineering position with a leading force in the energy sector. As a Project Engineer I within our Projects group, you will play a vital role in shaping and supporting pipeline projects at the earliest and most critical stages. Develop foundational skills alongside experienced mentors, interact with cross-functional teams, and influence the future of North America's oil and gas infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Drive the planning, scope definition, and early-stage project development for pipeline initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
- Complete front-end engineering/designs, cost estimates, and risk assessments to define project viability.
- Develop accurate, reliable project schedules and budgets, identifying risks and uncertainties.
- Prepare project charters that enable executive decision-making and align with organizational strategy.
- Deliver regular project updates and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Occasionally travel (up to 10%) to offices, construction sites, and supplier facilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
