Job description

Associate Alternative Channel Distribution Leader

Join us asan AssociateAlternative Channel Distribution Leader to play a highly influential role in developing relationships with clients and brokers and growing our business.

What you need to know:

This position willbe responsible for supporting AIG's profitable growth, maximizing AIG's franchisevalueand playing an active role in managing our Delegated Authority and Captive relationships for the commercial business within NA Commercial Insurance with unique and measurableobjectivesin the programs/MGA, risk management, and commercial accounts market segments.

The Associate will be a wholly dedicatedrole that will work with the Head of Wholesale and Alternative Channels Distribution as well as the leaders of Glatfelter, AIG Programs and Captive Solutions toestablishand execute a broad and customized distribution management strategy. They will also play an integral role in the wider AIG Distribution organization.

How you will create an impact:

  • Championing strategic growth plans for our Glatfelter programs, existing MGAs, MGUs, Program Administrators, Captive Management, US Fronting, and Group Captive clients.

  • Support the Captive Solutions team to triage new opportunities andidentifydeals that have the highest chance of success.

  • Manage and maintain the program opportunitycatalogueandidentifyplans around targetsin order tosource synergistic and accretive Program M&A targets.

  • Help developreal timeand consistent management reporting methods to hold partners accountable for production and performance.

  • Work with Marketing & Communications to coordinate AIG's participation in industry sponsored events as well as AIG hosted events (such as AIG Program Summit, Glatfelter MVP, Target Markets, AAMGA, Captive domicile, and segment specific forums). Ensure AIG is the Program Market ofchoice.

  • Help build collaborative growth plans across all distribution channels.

  • Develop andfacilitatetrusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work closely with the Glatfelter, AIG Programs & Captive Solutions distribution partners and build strong relationships, gain trust,facilitatecreative / innovative solutions, andshowcasethe GPCS franchise value and differentiation.

  • Act as a liaison between the GPCS business units and the rest of the AIG teams to ensure collaboration and coordination.

  • EnsureGPCS is represented in leadership meetings and broker discussions.

The Associate Alternative Channel Distribution Leader will be expected toexhibitthe following behaviors:

Whatyou'llneed to succeed:

  • 5+ Years of experience with P&C Carrier or Brokerage focused on the Delegated Authority & Captive distribution channels.

For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $78,800-$100,000 and for positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $86,000-$103,400 and for positions based in Massachusetts the base salary range is $83,000-$104,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
