POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Associate Product Manager will be primarily responsible for planning and executing strategic marketing activities for a category to achieve our growth ambitions. In addition, this position will have responsibility for the category funnel, commercialization of new items and consumer/shopper research for North American Club customers. The Sr. Associate Product Manager reports to the Sr. Product Manager, NA Alt Channel Innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute plans that address key issues and opportunities for the North American Club business
  • Support the creation and execution of the Club 3-year innovation pipeline for a category, including new product business case, commercial strategy, and implementation
  • Marketing lead for Club innovation projects/Club Rotational PIF including P&Ls, pricing recommendations, new item forecasts
  • Independently lead cross functional teams (project management) for both Club innovation and renovation initiatives
  • Recommend and deliver business presentations to sales, customers, and senior leadership
  • Exercise discretion regarding data and sources, analytical conclusions, and strategic recommendations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, or related fieldrequired
  • 1-2 years of consumer products or related field experience
  • Experience leading cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated success leading and championing business plan recommendations for senior management
  • Strong written, communication, presentation, and diplomacy skills to influence and convince others, both internally and externally, including customer-facing
  • Demonstrated understanding of:
    • Marketing procedures and concepts
    • How the team interacts and integrates with others in accomplishing objectives
    • Competitive landscape and implications to the segment and business
    • Required business acumen that goes beyond Marketing
  • Good understanding of syndicated retail data analysis (IRI or Nielsen), financial analysis, market research and business planning
  • Good written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong project leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, bias for action
